PWA Novel November

One week away from the Pro Writing Aid Novel November Challenge. I am excited for this challenge. I have never participated in such a challenge yet. It will be fun to see if I can do it, and if I can write a shorter story. When I completed my first draft of my current novel I came in around 127,000 words. After extensive and painful rounds of killing my darlings, along with splitting it in two, I came in at just over 95K. If you can't tell, I have a problem reigning in my character's adventures.

For this project, I've planned to switch up my style a bit. I have always written in a close third-person limited POV, and for this, I am trying my hand at a dual first-person POV prequel for my debut novel, Guard of the Fallen Island. Featuring the parents of the character Kylie Vercettus. This one will definitely fall more into the court intrigue, romantacy genre. I never thought I would write romantacy but here we are...
