About Kevin Pratte

I am an aspiring fantasy author with a deep love for emotionally driven storytelling, complex characters, and immersive worldbuilding. My work aims to blend high fantasy aesthetics with intimate, character-focused narratives.

 

Currently, I am working on a novel for Pro Writing Aid's Novel November Challenge. This is a prequel spin-off to my previous novel.

 

I have finished my debut novel, "Guard of the Fallen Island," the first in a planned series which features rich, cinematic scenes and lyrical prose, the series explores themes of legacy, transformation, and the aching beauty of first love. This novel is currently in the query process. I am actively seeking literary agent representation.

 

Outside of writing, I can be found out in the garden or working on various projects from woodworking to mechanics. Or at the gym, trying to compensate for all my sitting and writing.
